(not trying to get you to answer my question... just pointing out a similar question)What does it mean when a cat licks his lips?
Licking of lips can be an indicator of a range of different problems. It could be a sign of mild anxiety; an allergy of some sort (especially if they are licking another area of his body); or a sign of an obstruction somewhere in the digestive process (he may have swallowed an object or piece of string). In rare cases this could be a sign of something more serious such as CRI (Chronic Renal Insufficiency) where the kidneys aren't functioning properly. CRI also includes symptoms like increased thirst/urination and nausea so is unlikely to be the cause if the only symptom. It suggest you take your cat to the vet for a thorough examination, especially if the licking is accompanied by any of the other symptoms I have mentioned.
Your cat just ate something and it likes the taste.

How to shade lips in a drawing?
Im doing a profile portrait and I have no idea what to do do define the lips without making them appear black
Any tips? How to shade lips in a drawing?
the upper lips are always darker but not black...um...stare at your lips for a while and pin point the dark and light...and never outline lips dark it looks like they dont fit...they should naturally blend with the color of the skin but not disappear either...sorry if that was a little confusing...good luck^^How to shade lips in a drawing?
I'm not really good at explaining these kind of things but, you should look at your own lips to see how dark you should shade. I only know two clear things to tell you:
1) The top lip is somewhat draker than the bottom
2) The middle of the lip should have the line slighlty visible (to seperate the top and bottom lip)
i agree with the first person, the upper lips are darker. also the lower lip usually has a few highlights on it around the middle and the middle of the lips are usually lighter and then gradually get darker ... good luck!
-sorry if i'm bad at explaining things...:(

Why does my lips get chapped and dry so easily?
I have to drink about 7-8 drinks everyday otherwise my lips get dry and soared instantly. Why is it so??? Why does my lips reacts so fast? Is it because of lack of water or any other deficiency? Why does my lips get chapped and dry so easily?
I had the same problem a few months ago, it lasted for maybe a few weeks. It got to the point where I couldn't part my lips enough to eat or talk, so I went to the doctor, who told me it was probably a severe allergic reaction of some sort.
Here's what helped:
Benadryl every 8 hours (or whatever it says on the box)
Lots of water
Don't lick your lips, then they'll never get better
First, use Vaseline as a chapstick, and once your lips stop being so sore and dry, you can switch to a brandname chapstick.
Stay away from...
Fruity Flavors
Glitter
Coloring
Fragrance
Beeswax (in alot of them).
Since my ';reaction'; I've been using Softlips chapstick daily. It's good cause it's mainly vanilla, and not many preservatives or bad stuff. Why does my lips get chapped and dry so easily?
Drink as much water as you want to drink. Maybe it's dehydration.
And use a dry-lips-lipstick.

Dehydration is also NUMBER 1 factor for fatigue in most people. In this aspect, many people mistake it for lack of sleep.

Does anyone have a good remedy for sun burnt lips?
I burnt my lips on Monday and last night they started to blister. My lip looks like one big cold sore. But I don't think they are cold sores because they don't itch. They just burn really bad! Help!Does anyone have a good remedy for sun burnt lips?
I had the exact same thing happen to me several years ago at the beach. I used just plain old Vaseline and it really helped. Whatever you do though, do not put anything with menthol on your lips. So many lip ointments/products have that in it and it is extremely irritating and may make it worse.Does anyone have a good remedy for sun burnt lips?
I know that a home-made solution to sunburnt skin is to smooth cold yoghurt on the sunburnt skin- but i'm not sure whether it's the same with lips, to be honest. You could try it.
Also try Carmex lipbalm because it has pain reliever in it.
Remember when you go out in the sun to take a protective lipbalm- I use the yellow tin of Vaseline, which has SPF 20 (I think) sun protection in it.
The cheap move would be honey. I know what you're thinking... but Honey can do almost anything... chapped, sunburned skin... even like road rash... it's ridiculously useful.
If you're looking for something less sticky... Neosporin makes a lip ointment. Also, Elizabeth Arden makes a wonder goo called Eight hour cream that you can use on any sunburn... lips or face... anything.
this may hurt a little but it will help... suck on lemon juice or watever just get it on your lips then after like 2 minutes put vaseline on
vaseline works best!
carmex works great

Why do my lips turn red after i brush my teeth?
After i brush my teeth, my lips turn really red and stay that way for several hours. However, they are not chapped. If i do not brush my teeth, my lips stay normal. I have tried different brands of toothpaste, but that does not seem to make any difference. Why do my lips turn red after i brush my teeth?
It sounds like you are having some type of allergic reaction...are you having any other symptoms, like itching or redness on any other areas? I would continue to try different toothpaste or avoid them all together. Good Luck

How can i get rid of redness around my lips?
I don't have a problem with my lips although i used to (a BIG Problem) Because my gran told me about carmex Oh Thank you Gran !!! But i have some redness around my lips at the corners, what can i use to get rid of them ? (Not concealer it looks awful) Thanks! xHow can i get rid of redness around my lips?
Redness around your lips can be from a variety of things.
1) it can be caused by an allergy to anything you put on your lips (lipsticks etc).
2) It can be that you have an irritation that you don't know about. For example, when people brush their teeth they often don't rinse well and leave a tiny bit of toothpaste in the corners of their mouth.
3) probably the most COMMON cause is lip licking. Stop licking your lips if you are doing this.
You can treat redness around your lips with Hydrocortisone 2.5% ointment. They sell 1% in the pharmacy without a prescription. I would start with that first. Give it a few weeks. If you need something stronger see your doctor. How can i get rid of redness around my lips?
Take a multi vitamin
drink more water
use a pure and natural face wash (Aveeno, or something like that)
add pure vitamin e to the area before bed.
Instead of make up use a tinted moisturizer it helps conceal + adds good things to your skin.
keep on using the carmex--just dab a little in the corners where it's still red--the redness should go away after a few days of constant use......
you might want to try some chapstick or lip balm to protect your lips. around this time of year as it gets colder your lips take a beating!
Try putting some different lip balm on the red areas. The skin around there is probably just chapped.
