Does anyone have a good remedy for sun burnt lips?

I burnt my lips on Monday and last night they started to blister. My lip looks like one big cold sore. But I don't think they are cold sores because they don't itch. They just burn really bad! Help!Does anyone have a good remedy for sun burnt lips?
I had the exact same thing happen to me several years ago at the beach. I used just plain old Vaseline and it really helped. Whatever you do though, do not put anything with menthol on your lips. So many lip ointments/products have that in it and it is extremely irritating and may make it worse.Does anyone have a good remedy for sun burnt lips?
I know that a home-made solution to sunburnt skin is to smooth cold yoghurt on the sunburnt skin- but i'm not sure whether it's the same with lips, to be honest. You could try it.

Also try Carmex lipbalm because it has pain reliever in it.

Remember when you go out in the sun to take a protective lipbalm- I use the yellow tin of Vaseline, which has SPF 20 (I think) sun protection in it.
The cheap move would be honey. I know what you're thinking... but Honey can do almost anything... chapped, sunburned skin... even like road rash... it's ridiculously useful.

If you're looking for something less sticky... Neosporin makes a lip ointment. Also, Elizabeth Arden makes a wonder goo called Eight hour cream that you can use on any sunburn... lips or face... anything.
this may hurt a little but it will help... suck on lemon juice or watever just get it on your lips then after like 2 minutes put vaseline on
vaseline works best!
carmex works great
