How do I keep color in my lips?

I always get chapped, pale lips, even if i just applied lip gloss a half hour before. I'm way too young to wear lipstick and I hate it anyway, but what's the best way to keep my lips colored and moist? What are some good brands of lip gloss? Ten points, thank you!How do I keep color in my lips?
Paint them. How do I keep color in my lips?
The cheapest, but best, thing that I've found for chronically chapped lips in petroleum jelly (Vaseline). It's a bit greasy, but just blot your lips with a tissue after applying. It instantly hydrates lips and keeps them protected from the elements. It also penetrates the lips to prevent them from chapping in the future. The best part is it looks and works like clear lip gloss- you can use it alone or even apply it over makeup.
First point: Make sure you're not using a ';medicated'; lip balm - those often have very irritating ingredients like menthol and camphor. Very bad. Instant chapping.

Second point: Lip glosses will never stay for very long on your lips due to their liquidy nature. It is something that will always need to be re-applied throughout the day.

The best thing I would recommend is to keep your lips moisturized with Vaseline at night, and during the day maybe try using a lip liner with the gloss.

You could try Clinique Superbalm or L'Oreal Colour Surge lip gloss.
you deffinitly want a treatment type of lip product. get somethihng with vitamin e in it. you also might want to try to exfoliate your lips once in a while if your experiencing chapped lips. you should also consider a hydrating lip gloss. a good one to check out is the one by Tarte....its a treatment and a lip gloss you can check it out...

I use carmex at night if my lips are really chapped. Every day I wear some of victoria's secret lip gloss, and that seems to work. The gloss is too sticky for a lot of people, but it stays on well. But make sure you pull back your hair if it is windy!

There is also the minty lip shine with is thinner.

Good luck!
First of all,you should exfoliate your lips(you can do it easily with a wet tooth brush.massage them in circle motion)

then you should put on chapstick before you apply lipgloss(my favorite line of lipglosses are the ones of VICTORIA' SECRET.no sticky, long lasting, pretty colors and awesome flavors!!!..........dont use those like bonebell, they are formulated more for kids,so they dont last that longer....).
Hey...ok, u might think im crazy, but i have this SAMAE problem! lol. Trust me, this works.

The only way i can get color 2 stay on my lips for a LONG time is...

Eat a red popcicle, or red juice! lol.

just be careful 2 drink it so it only goes on ur lips!

After it like ';dries'; on there, put cherry chapstick (regular works 2 i guess, but cherry gives u a pinkinsh shimmer!) so yea...idk if u wanna try it, but sometimes if i just eat a popsicle, and put that on, ppl will be like ';ooh, nice lipgloss!'; lol.

Oooooh, and if u put a little bit of hot pink, shimmery eyeshaddow over the chapstick it works great 2!

Good luck! =]
Use lip balm before your gloss - your lips will stay moisturized all day long! I like L'Oreal Color Juice Glosses and Clinique super balms :)
try keals lip balm... you can get it at Sax or Nordstrom, and they come in clear, fuscia, hot pink, etc... and some have SPF 15 too!!!
First put on a layer of chapstick. Then put on a colored lipgloss but nothing like in your face vibrant. Then put on a clear coat. It works!
how about smuckers brand
