Ladies, how do you prevent red wine stained lips at a nice restaurant or wine tasting?

I always end up with weird purple lips when I drink red wine. Does anyone have any tips to prevent this?Ladies, how do you prevent red wine stained lips at a nice restaurant or wine tasting?
wear plain chapstick to create a barrier between the lip and the wine

take small, controlled sips with your bottom lip under the glass so it won't touch the wine

Dry your lips off and put on lip balm.

(Drinking straight from the bottle works too.)
Interesting, I have NEVER had weird purple lips by the end of a wine tasting! Which makes me wonder if you are tasting quality wine! But, here's a thought, alternate your red wines with white. And, you might want to see if your lips are dry and porous, so lube them up with some chapstick before you go.
You shouldn't wear lipstick or perfume when you are wine tasting. It will mar the taste. When you are at a restaurant try blotting you lips before you sip or wear a lip balm.
drink with one lip under the rim of the glass and open your mouth so that the wine slides in without toushing your lips!

practice with water first!
