Why does George Boleyn always kiss the lips of his sisters?

In the book ';The Other Boleyn Girl'; George Boleyn and his sisters always kissing like lovers even they're not and even he has a complicated sexual orientation.

Was it a normal thing in that century?

Why is he doing this?

That's sick I think you can't kiss your sisters or brothers lips. Why does George Boleyn always kiss the lips of his sisters?
It is an archaic form of greeting a familar to your house. Why does George Boleyn always kiss the lips of his sisters?
I agree. I thought it was weird when my mom kissed my uncle (her brother) on the lip in greeting but it is normal for them. Movie kissing made kissing apear to be a lot more intamate then they were.
Kissing on the lips was a common form of greeting in England in the 16th century. It would only have been a dry kiss, not a French kiss. They would not have thought it any stranger than kissing on the cheek. it certainly was not an indication of anythign incestuous.
