My lips have been ridiculously chapped lately and I hate it. Especially when I have a boyfriend and ya know... But yeah. Please help. Please don't say chapstick... But if you that way and you do anyway please at least tell me what kind. What is a good way to make your lips smooth and not chapped?
You should try this natural lip balm... its really moisturizing and leaves my lips really soft.. lol... I love the berry smoothie.. but check it out.

If ur lips are really chapped and burning you could use mentholatum ointment for chapped noses and lips. Its so cooling and will heal your skin overnight. Put on at night before you go to bed. But then after that you could always use vitamin e oil at night to keep um nice and soft. Use it at night so lips can soak up the moisture all night. Vit E is so good for the skin, rub it in all over the skin surrounding your lips too. Lips don't have their own moisture so you should rub the oil into the skin that surrounds the lips too. This will help to keep them soft and smooth all day.
Brush your lips with a soft bristled toothbrush to exfoliate then smear honey on your lips, let the honey sit for 10 minutes then wipe/lick the honey off.
I do this about once every couple of weeks. If you live in an extreme climate then you might have to put some sort of moisturizer on during the day but I don't recommend a chapstick they contain ingredients that actually make minute slices on your lips (try vaseline or a bit of vitamin A cream or maybe a bit of baby oil gel).
I got this really neat cherry chapstick at Mount Vernon on my field trip to Washington DC and New York last summer. It tastes good and keeps my lips moisturized. My boyfriend likes when I wear it;) haha
But you probably don't want to make a special trip to Alexandria, Virginia to get a tube of chapstick or two. I'd try Lizard Lips. It's a good chapstick my mom found when we were in Colorado two summers ago. My little brother had majorly chapped lips from licking them so much and that stuff worked amazingly.
You can find Lizard Lips online or at a convenience store like Allsups.
I like the Neutrogena chapstick in the white tube, and I like Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Champagne because it makes your lips tingle and feel really nice and the color flatters everyone.
But for now:
Run your toothbrush underneath warm water and scrub your lips with it. Then put Vaseline or Carmex all over your lips and sleep with it on. Your lips should be better in the morning.
i always use blistex, especially in the winter time. they have a blue one and its in a round container, about the size of a tooney. about 4$ and they have a white one for summer = )
It's called Softlips.
USE IT!
It's not very pricey, but it is a bit thin.
It works wonders though, I promise.
I get especially chapped lips in the winter and I keep that chapstick in my pocket at all times.
don't pick on it because u will make it bleed. use a lip exfoliater, and a good lip balm, just keep reapply whenever it feels dry
Use the actual brand called Chapstick. It really does work. I use the cherry kind. so my lips get soft and smell good.
chapstick.
Rub chicken poop on your lips. It is not an instant cure but it sure keeps you from licking them.
well for me this might sound gross but it is not i just lick my lips and they feel fine and not chap try it
First of all, you just made me put some on. I use All Natural ChapStick. Wear lipstick during the day, ChapStick at night.
