How do you make your lips lighter?

My lips are naturally big and red, but I notice the trend right now it like a light pink. I try lip glosses - but they never work. Makes my lips redder. Any suggestions?How do you make your lips lighter?

Welll... I've never tried this, but a few of my friends are in this ';scene/emo phase'; and they put foundation (whether it's a stick, liquid, or concealer) on their lips and then apply clear lip gloss. It makes their lips appear lighter, from what i see. But I think your lips - full and dark, is the prettiest. I say, keep them the way yours are! Because most people WANT lips like yours! (:
