Why do some families kiss each other on the lips?

I find it very odd cuz if family kiss on the lips then wouldnt that mean they lost their first kiss to a family member?!


My neighbor (My BFF) always kiss her mom and dad on the lips just a peck and all but i just find it sooooo odd.





My main question is......





When families like my neighbors kiss on the lips do they have there first kiss with their Family member?Why do some families kiss each other on the lips?
A simple peck is not a kiss. It's just a way to show affection. Some families are more comfortable with kisses like that because they don't sexualize it in their minds. It's not odd, my family does it all the time. We kiss each other on the cheeks too.

No......of course not. I also had a friend that the whole family would kiss on the lips (small peck). One time I felt so uncomfortable because that same friend had kissed me hello on the lips just like she would with her famly. I didn't like the feeling it left on me, kissing another girl but I realized to her it was innocent and she didn't mean anything sexual by it. I consider a FIRST KISS to be with that special someone that you really are attracted to and want a relationship with.
Yes, when I see I think it is so strange. However it is different. It is not the kiss thing. The affection between both kisses are very different.
No a kiss (family) is differnt than a kiss (bf)
